For Dave's day off we went to the beach. The weather has been glorious and beautiful so we couldn't pass it up. Dave went out surfing (well, actually it's more like floating with a surf board and then getting beat up by the big waves. he his hoping to learn to surf soon). It was too cold for the kids and I to get in the water but we had a lovely walk and enjoyed flying a kite and playing in the sand.

We'll have to meet up sometime at the beach...Duncan keeps telling me he wants to learn to surf.
(BTW- I love that picture of you and Dave on the sidebar. You look SO pretty).
