halloween

My cute little Wee sing group went to sing at a retirement community. Here they all are getting ready to sing.

For FHE one night we went to Henry's to pick pumpkins!  So much closer, quicker and cheaper than the pumpkin patch! Some day we will go check out Bates Nut Farm!  Dave did a great job carving pumpkins with the kids.  He made them scoop their own pumpkin guts so the kids found some gloves to use - they would not stick their hands in without gloves.

 Clare was a doctor for Halloween. After school on Hallween day she came home and said, "oh my, I do NOT want to be a doctor for Hallween anymore. Everyone keeps asking me to fix them."  Everyone who saw her would say, "dr. clare I have a hurt finger, can you help me? etc. etc.

Jo is a cutie. This is not her Hallween costume but it is her on the moring of Halloween as we were all getting ready. She loves head bands now and often wears one.

 She also loves the stroller (Oh how I love this age of babies!) She will put her special blankies in and push it all around and them completely freak out and scream if it gets stuck or if something falls out!

 Jo was happy as long as her mouth was full of candy. WE found the best way to keep it full without over feeding her was to give her a sucker. I think 2 suckers lasted her all evening. She LOVES candy!
